86,000 qualifying AMC members were given a free NFT with a Spider-Man: No Way Home ticket. The historic one day tickets sold out.
The AMC NFT is more than just an image of a gold medallion. It “glimmers” and “moves,” showcasing the possibilities for developers and collectors alike.
Is there another example?
Sure, have you heard of CryptoPunks by Larva Labs. This free NFT is now valued for more than $300K. Some are hoping AMC has similar success.
Where does this leave AMC and shareholders?
We don't know yet. AMC hopes the value of the NFTs rises to help with their debt. AMC's stock has already soared in response to the NFT.
